How to Embed a Google+ Post

Just a few days after we posted this blog post on how-to link to a Google+ post, Google added a new feature which enables Google+ users to embed Google+ posts within websites and blogs.

 

To keep it really simple, all you have to do is left click on the down arrow at the top left corner of your post, and select emebed.embed a google+ post

 

One problem: you need to add javascript to your header..  I really do not like this and it makes it really difficult for average joe bloggers to embed posts.  I’ve never seen an embed tag require so much effort.embed a google+ post 2

Twitter, for example makes it super easy to embed Tweets into websites by allowing you to paste a quick snippet and walk away.

One of the (many) reasons so many people are using Twitter over Google+ is because of examples like this. You should not have to take more than 1 step to complete a task like embedding a card.
